Dmytro Yarosh: “Central Election Commission nevertheless endorsed my candidacy. I’m even surprised… This move was difficult for me, because for the last twenty years the word “politics” has given me mixed feelings. We promoted the national idea; we promoted the idea of national revolution; depending on our forces, we were defending the national interests; we were training young people who demonstrated themselves on Maidan quite ably (I still can’t forget that armored troop-carrier). We did not enter direct party politics. But now, having consulted with the confreres and having listened to the opinions of many colleagues and ordinary citizens, I agreed to run for president. I will make every effort in order to win elections. But the foreground for me is continuation of National Revolution. Spilled blood does not have to be useless sacrifice. Together – we will win, and so help us God!”
